Hunted a closed school property today for almost five hours. This site has been hunted pretty good by people who have no respect for the public sites we get to work, because they leave most of their holes open, even though the school is closed and up for sale...slugs, in my opinion.

I've hunted this site before with my AT Max, and today was with my Equinox 600. I’ve only had the Nox for about a week, but I’m learning that I have to,listen for the subtle high tones and dig them...that’s how I got all three rings.

Beautiful weather today, and hoping to take advantage of the upcoming weekend's nice temps.

any three rind day is a good day, congrats

I was able to get a partial first name and complete last name of the owner of the class ring. I contacted him via Facebook and waiting to hear back. Sure would like to reunite him with his ring...even though it’s in pieces!

awesome job with the 600, love mine. even those pieces bring back the memories to the owner and that is an old ring. congrats

Congrats JoeVal,

That's a beautiful class ring and good luck on the return!

WOW! My first class ring find, and I heard back from its owner...he thought it was gone forever, and had no clue where or how he lost it. I offered to get it back to him and he agreed. I mailed it to him this morning, along with a google Maps screen capture showing exactly where I found it.

As fate would have it, the owner is an active duty USAF TSgt at the reserve base in Youngstown Ohio, and I’m a veteran USAF SSgt...nice connection.

I’m looking forward to my next find that I can get back to an owner. I now see why folks enjoy returning their finds whenever they can. Thanks for your like in this thread.

Excellent day. Congrats
