I found these three pieces in the same general area on a high spot that overlooks a point on the river. Each are different but they all share some similarities. All have microflaking, and heavily ground finger platforms. The first piece is worked on both sides, has a possible tranchet flaked but well ground platform that fits well into the hand. it also has a possible graver to the left of the platform. Second piece appears to be a spokeshave / knife multitool. The third piece imo is a reworked or salvaged outre passe flake that may have killed the piece the maker was knapping. There is a small amount of edgework and above that is a well ground platform that appears it was tranchet flaked from the looks of the fracture. I believe this flake was salvaged into a multitool. I remember we were discussing these awhile ago and have forgotten the term used to describe pieces like the third one. Do you see anything different here? Opinions and comments are appreciated.
