Three toasty largies and an indian were the modern finds and a nice native point minus the base with a cool horizontal striping in it. I think Im getting a little better at spotting them and would rather find them than most anything metal that isnt gold or really old silver

Love the old coppers, congrats! :icon_thumleft:

Great finds, all of them. Thanks for sharing.

Great looking point! Well done on the coppers, is the bottom off centre or is just the picture?

No the IHP is laying on top of a completely toasted LC.

Toasted - the bane of my existence, not you, Toasted. I'm talking about the toasted copper coins we dig. :laughing7: Glad to see you got a few, perhaps a silver coin next time?

I have found a few silver coins at this spot and they too were among the most toasted silvers Ive ever pulled from the water.

Beautiful point, especially for quartzite.

Very nice! Congrats!

Beautiful point, especially for quartzite.

I wish it was complete but still mostly complete with a sharp point still. I think quartzite is by far the most common material for points around here as is this size and type

Love finding points! I simply don't have that talent. In all my years I've found exactly 2!

Nice!

Nice job on the 3 Large Cents, but to me, that point is the find of the day.

Nice finds. What setting do you use on the Equinox to find those points? Just kidding. :laughing7: I would love to find an arrowhead, but need to pay more attention. Congrats on the nice finds.

Nice piece of history great find

That is true for your area as well as tidal Virginia. But that one seems clearer than most and the striations are really cool. The sharp point is also hard to come by. I remember finding a nice point with a sharp point like that when I was a kid. Dropped it on my buddies kitchen table and there went the point. Survived 5 thousand years with that point and I had it for 3 hours!

Wow, those a great finds. Congratulatiobs
