three eights

Found my 1st Indian Head penny for this year. I knew there had to be some there, because I had found a 1893 quarter earlier this year. I didn't know what it was until I got home and cleaned it up. When I saw the date I saw those 3 eights. 1888 was a long time ago.
Unfortunalty it has a gash right across the front.
I'm still looking for those buffalo nickels that I know are there
