Day 1:
Went to one of the Tahoe beaches where I've done well in the past. Not so much this day, all the jewelry is junk.
Day 2:
Hit a local farmers market area where I always find a lot of clad. Found $7.80 in clad.
Day 3:
Whilst perusing Sierra mountain areas on Historic Aerials I noticed where there was a small house or cabin next to some railroad tracks. It was there on the the oldest image for that area which was 1948. It was gone by the '60s.
Pulled a two merc money clip, 1944 and 1945 wheat cents, a Burgermeister church key, a suspenders clip, a 30-40 Krag cartridge casing and some strange looking steel thing that looks familiar so I picked it up hoping somebody would ID it.
The suspenders clip has writing on the back but I can't make it out.
The money clip.
The site of the old rail shack.
Only a small portion of the area is searchable with the heavy vegetation.
