This past Saturday I had a few hours to myself and went out and detected a small portion of my property, which is along the old Susquehanna Turnpike. Last fall I had discovered an old well and I detected about 200 sq.ft around it and found a wood handled Iron fork a 1777 King George the 3rd penny, and a large dandy button. With some gilding still in the grooves. That was Saturday. Yesterday I spent another couple of hours in the same area and came up with a copper which has gone blank due to the acidity of the soil, and a 1776 1 Reale that I believe has the Bolivian mint mark on it, I am used to the Mexican OM mint marks. But this was a cool one to find for me.
