Okay, the first and last objects are lead, and I don't really expect that they will be identified as anything. They'r just odd.

But the middle thing, which is made of brass, looks very familiar. I know that I have seen things like it posted on T-net, but I don't remember where or when. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

Item 3 is probably a pencil shaped from a bullet. That's a cool find.

Oh wow! I never thought that object would be identified. Thanks!

Years ago I visited a Rev War reenactment and borrowed a lead "pencil" from a participant, so that I could write down an address. For some reason I never considered that we would find them when metal detecting. That is cool!

I was thinking the middle one was part of a sextant or something like that.
