I had the pleasure of detecting a property situated on the frontlines of the civil war battlefield today. I found some interesting buckles and Id love to know more about them. If you have any information on what they went to, let me know. Ex. Belt, gun sling, bags, etc! I want to find the exact names and purposes so I can properly tag and display them!

One on the left is a suspender buckle. Right is horse tack buckle not sure about the other one. Sorry but they are not Cw military Issued items
 

I believe they date post war probably late 1800s To early 1900s

Agreed, I think the Horse harness buckle may date back to as far as the CW, but it would be tough to argue it came from a CW period horse.(when they hardly changed in 80 years)
