I've had a great couple weeks, lot of digging and some fantastic finds. Black flies out in force today though, so the real sweet season is over.

wow looks like you had a great day!!!!! mass rules for hunting at times huh. willy.

You really, or is it realie, need to take your brother to these new sites.

Thats a great coin, nice going!

Great Finds Cheffer! Been A LONG time since I had a good find. Those are some AWESOME coins. DigginitRTB, (brother in law) found a silver spoon last year in Windsor. Would like to see the hallmark on the back. Not looking to step on your toes, but what town did you find this stuff in? We are currently hunting a couple of spots in Peru. How we deal with the black flies is a smudge pit. A smudge pit is a small fire, UP wind from where you are hunting, fed once in a while with leaves and birch bark. The smoke takes care of the bugs. THEY HATE IT! Works AWESOME! Takes care of every bug known to man within a 200 yard radius. If, in fact, you are in a spot where you can have a small fire. We are always out in the woods so we always have a small fire and cook hotdogs. Hogge

Tearing up on the silver! Spanish silver is still on my wish list ....
