Just wondering what you think on this ring if it's military or not. It has a boat anchor on it. 14 K with like a ruby kind of clear crystal front. With the ECL on the front. Weight is 7. 6 grams.

I'm thinking some kind of class ring maybe?

Just a guess, but I would think of a maritime college. Here in Maine we have Maine Maritime, not sure what the E.C.L. would stand for even if I were correct. Sorry I am not really any help.

I am thinking a Cruise Line but I see none that start with E. Could also be someone's initials.

I traveled quite a bit with the Air Force, and anywhere there is a large base there are local shops and artisans lined up outside with customizable jewelry and trinkets. My guess is this ring was purchased by a Navy sailor at some port, and custom engraved 'while you wait.'

Nice find. I like it. Seems to have an old, well worn, look to me.

Thank you guys for your thoughts. I'm probably going to end up scrapping it. I might try it online but I have a feeling all offers I get will be scrap prices anyways. I only paid $30 for it though so it's not a big deal.... I wish it said military on it or something along that lines. . Darn .

Work Like A Sailor, Party Like A Pirate - East Coast Lifestyle

I think it may be a ring/accessory from this clothing company. East coast lifestyle.

The anchor and the star really seem like their design.

Either way i do not think this is military at all. The military rings are almost all made by jostens or other large companies. And if it is a knock off or repro of a "military ring" I would definitely check to make sure its real.
