Hi guys, I went to a coin show yesterday and picked up the coin in the pictures.
It’s a 1962 P Lincoln Cent.
It’s graded by ICG at MS-67.
Which I believe is a top grade. Or ms67+ might be. I’m not sure. Anyways.

I’m questioning if I should break this thing out and send it to PCGS. Because I’ve heard they are worth so much more by PCGS.
What are you opinions?

Oh also I paid 25$ for it.

You're assuming that PCGS will give it the same grade, huh? Assuming so, you might make a few bucks, but, maybe not. You'll have to ask yourself if it's worth it. What if it comes back MS65 or lower?

Not assuming. But hoping, sorta. I know that coin would be a great turnaround if it was to be the case

PCGS is known to be tougher graders and they might even give it a lower grade, I would say your best bet would be to leave it as is and just enjoy the coin!

What you are proposing to do is a losing proposition. I highly suggest you learn a LOT more about coins in general before you even consider trying the "crackout" game. Best of luck.

You can buy a nice looking raw Brilliant Uncirculated 1962 Lincoln for less than $1. I'm wondering at what price a dealer would buy this back from you. Buying OLDER graded coins may be a good way to buy but I'm wary of buying modern slabbed coins. Just sayin'...…...
