Had a fun short hunt yesterday in a 1930s yard. I was happy with the thimble, whistle, wheaties and bullets. Got some costume jewelry too, or so I thought. There were other pieces, a locket that separated in a mower, a gold colored earring and a small chain. Found this pin too and put them all in the bag to clean up. What a nice surprise, at my kitchen sink with a magnifying glass, when I saw 10K. Looks like a diamond in the middle too! No other pieces were gold or silver. Brooch is missing part of the clasp, but that's probably how it found its way under my coil. :) How bout that!

Thanks to NZ49er who had this identified in about 10 seconds.............

WOW!!!!!! Awesome find!!!!

Lovely hunk of gold. Get it repaired and wear it on your hunts for luck!

Nice find! May the "Luck" always be with you! Thanks for sharing that beauty!

Very nice find. Did NZ49er know who the maker might be? I don't recognise the 'T in Faceted Diamond' mark. Exactly the same design also seems to be kicking around with an 'HDS' mark and also with no maker mark, and in 14K as well as 10K. I'm guessing its a standard line from a supplier who provides them with whatever mark a retailer wants.

This one sold for $126.55:

I've been trying to find the maker with no luck. Would like to know...

Now that is a neat find. I'll bet someone was disappointed when they lost that one.
