Thought it was a large cent

Until I cleaned it off. It's the same size as a large cent and appears copper. Any ideas?

Looks like an 18th century flat button to me-I can see where the shank was soldered on the back.

I think that is another symbol. The chip in the edge I believe is where the pendant was attached. I definitely agree with 1960s

The chip on the edge is probably where I nicked it digging it up. I believe it's older then the 60's. It was found on a site that has activity on it dating back to the 1730's.

Can you take some pictures that are not on a white background? Preferably blue or tan background. That way we can get a better idea of what the patina really looks like
