Thought it was a gold chain

To day I went out for hour or so after work at a park near home searched grass around the baskteball goals and hit what I thought was a nickle. turned out to be a charm high school senior 2001 and what I thought was a gold chain bt it just turned out to be a almost gold ! Oh well at least it was not a pop top ha ha. I use a Bounty Hunter Time Ranger detector. Have found a few items have to learn how to use my scanner again so i can post pictures .

Cool. In my day, we called them a class key. We had a choice of gold or non gold. Is there any writing on the back?

No no writing on it any where it was down about 2 inches and strung out had to dig to get ot out in one peice
