Thought I Lost A Dump Bank

Stopped at one of my favorite dump banks yesterday and was shocked to see a sign on the coin machine that said it didn't take halves. I asked the teller what was up and she told me that it never took halves. "Would you get me the other teller?" The guy who usually helps me came over and said to go ahead and dump my halves, it shouldn't be a problem. He told me a customer had some halves that wouldn't go through and someone decided it must not take halves anymore. I saw a lot of "casino" halves in the first teller's tray. The rims on them were upset much more than most I've seen and their excessive thickness is probably what caused the problem.
Anyway, I was really glad I hadn't lost an excellent dump bank.

I am sure glad you didn't lose the bank, a good dump bank is worth it's weight in gold. As far as I am concerned they are more important than supply banks. Thanks. Dennis.
