I have two schools on my street, one at either end.
One of the schools is where they hold the Wolcott Country Fair every year.
I went to that school and was working along a chain link fence when I got
a dollar signal on my ACE 250. When I have had that signal before it would
bounce from the dollar notch to other notches and it would never stay steady
on the dollar signal. Today I got a signal that locked right on the dollar notch
and wouldn't move for anything. I started digging hoping to find my first silver
dollar but it was not to be it was just something with a basketball symbol on
it. I also got a key and a hand full of clad but it was a beautiful day in Connecticut
and a great day to detect.

That looks like Michael Jordan's signature pose on that piece. One of these days the real thing will pop out of the ground for you.

Funny, I was thinking of Air Jordan when I seen it as well.

Goodluck next time.

I've been digging signals like that for 5 years. :o It has never been a silver dollar or half. :dontknow: :icon_scratch:

Keep @ it and HH!!

Hmmm....that's probably a rare piece of MJ memorabilia worth $1,000,000 and that's probably a key to a bus depot locker containing another $1,000,000 but you keep on looking for that silver dollar.

Seems you had a decent clad count for the day. It was a great to hunt in the Northeast, no humidity :headbang:
