Thought I had a coin.

Dug this a few years ago. When I pulled it out of the ground I saw the date 1764 clearly, After I caught my breath I thought I had a GOOD coin. Oh well not a coin. Is it a button?

It's called a coin button (not made from a coin) we find them here in the UK usually with a Roman head on, it was popular during Victorian period..nice
