now im not too sure....went to the coin store ...only been there once before...guy seems pretty cool. so i decided to get a few coins.....i picked up 2 morgan 1/2's from his "commons" box....never had any morgans ....got a 1881 and a 1891....pretty good details...anyway i payed $12.00 ea. ...i figured silver is at $13.50...so i thought i got a good deal ...forgot they're 90% silver...turns out the melt value is $10.22...$2.33 over melt...... ....oh well they're nice coins and since i dont have any they are a welcome addition....note to self....DO YOUR HOMEWORK

Morgan 1/2's Do you mean Morgan Dollars?

If Morgan dollars, $12 that isn't that bad of price.The price of them goes up every year.

You did well to get those for $12 each. Even though they are 90% silver, most dealers sell them over spot. Go back and get more.
