Well shucks got home and most of the small ones were pieces and not whole. The quartz one is a type of scraper or a unfinished knife. The tiny one on my finger is a classic for the field I was in. The rest are broken pieces and 1 piece of heavy pottery or stone bowl. The core is interesting looks like they made some good flake tools off of it before they tossed it. Should of stayed longer it was a nice warm day.

Good stuff there and a nice day to be outside! As soon as I leave work I'm headed out back for about an hour of this nice weather. With any luck something will be waiting for me to pick it up but I'm watching for the snakeys too...they be loving all this sun and warmth on a Winter day

Some nice reduction flakes & cores, cool material, had ancient human contact. Keepers. Maybe a nice thumbnail scraper? Congrats

Yeah it was disappointment when I got home and washed them. The 1st piece doesnt show well and is very crude but shows work on it probably a preform. All that flint and they wanted to work a piece of quartz instead. It was warm kinda like desert weather here cold in the mornings and hot by noon. I had a jacket on and was sweating didnt want to leave it behind so I decided to leave.
