Though it was a bullet when it came out of the hole......

I need some ideas on this one. When it came out of the hole, 4" deep it looked to be a bullet but after i cleaned the dirt off i have no idea. Never seen a bullet shaped like this and the color is off.
The diameter measures .356" and is .639" long. The weight feels like lead.
