Yesterday I finished the morning with an 1853-O half dime; this morning I moved next door and didn't do quite as well. Still, it was nothing to complain about; I found a 13 and 14 wheat, as well as a 26. Unfortunately, the 14 didn't have a "D" below it ::) There are very large yards adjacent to the two I've just completed; I'll have to speak with their owners ;). I hope someone else was able to track down the elusive silver today!

Outraged, you find some great stuff, but a 1933 Washington quarter? That tops them all!

HD - nice finds. Wheats are good. Goal is silver this weekend for me.

Henry - I found the elusive silver but I'm holding out. ;D These things take time to process - cleaning, photos, editing, write ups - Once a week is about what works for me.

Keep working those yards - as long as you are finding wheats.

Nice finds, half. A half dime for halfdime. How appropriate!

Thanks for sharing.

Just curious. Who is your avatar?

Paul, my avatar is none other than the immortal Bob Prince, broadcaster for the Pirates from 1948-75 and briefly again in the 80's. To me, he was as much a Pirate as Clemente, Stargell or Mazeroski. One or two local members of this site recognized him in some of their comments, but you're the first to ask about him. I was thinking of changing to someone else and having a guessing contest; what do you think?

Thanks for the reply, half.

I know what you mean about the broadcaster being one of the team. After all, many of them are connected with the team far longer that most players and coaches.

I think the contest would be fun and interesting.

Bob

Mirage PM me if you need any help...

Nick

Hey Nick, thanks for reminding me of the food part but now it's going to take me even longer. I usually only think of the pictures after Me, my wife and two teenagers have consumed everything. Last night it was good - we had grilled Talapia and Salmon, redskin potatoes and fresh steamed green beans. Would have made a good picture. Oh well, maybe tonight. :)
