This is where your depth reading comes in handy to help decide on those iffy targets. If I'm in an area that can produce old coins and relics, I'll dig anything deep that gives me any kind of non-ferrous sound, solid, one way, or just a chirp. You'll be amazed at some of the things you'll find.
