Looks interesting. Why are there all the little nicks on it? By my personal rules, it doesn't seem to be too functional, and it doesn't seem to be easily attached to something sturdy. But I am used to Western Indian stuff, the the short grass prairies weren't known for the farming culture. I could be out in right field.

It must have been banged by other rocks during flood times or something.
