I have had a very good start this year, the rings on the red chain were all found this January and the rings on the blue chain were all found this month. My two best of the year so far are also shown. Gold with diamonds, made banner and 19 grams Plat. Thanks for looking.

That's great Jaws2! What is your ratio of silver to gold rings?

I would say the average is 25% gold, 40% silver, 10% misc. and 25% junk, in Jan. 6 gold and in Feb.
7 gold and 1 Plat.

You never know one day about year ago I hit a pocket that gave up 7 rings 6 were gold and one Tungsten Carbide. they were all 15" to 20" in an area no larger that 1000 sq ft.

Fantastic finds! Looks just like all my finds from last year combined.

That,s a pile of metal for sure :icon_thumleft: ill be hitting the beaches in a few weeks April to Nov. with my Sov. GT 30 miles of white sand ocean beaches on both sides of me praying for heavy South winds !! , best ring i have ever seen scooped up was a 18k gold 10 carat pear shaped diamond worth $240,000.00 the lady who lost it hired this guy to find it he showed me pictures he wouldn't say what he got out of it ? he has over 25 years under his belt md,ing who the he*l would wear a ring like that to the beach lol :headbang:

Were these all shallow water or were some on the beach in the wet sand?

I never get in the water all dry or wet sand.

Thats really good. I just got back from a week of detecting on 6 beaches in Florida and did not find a single wedding ring. Got a share of bullets, coins old and new and one earring.

Now I am determined to get a gold ring!
