all the finds are from local parks that are going to keep me busy for a long time i think.
first up is a piece of silver that i thought was tin foil and nearly put it in my trash pocket but when i got home i cleaned and straightened it a bit and was pleased to see silver hallmarks on it (you can see them at the bottom of the last picture of it).
next is before and after pictures of a silver pocket watch (the first one i have found).theres not much left of it but still a nice find.
next is a nice old looking gold ring, unfortunately it's been hit by the mower at some point.i might get it mended and wear it as it's a nice solid ring.
a modern gold ring is next.
the next ring was found by the swings in the kids play area of a local park,it's what we would refer to as a heartstopper lol, unfortunately it's not real.
last but not least,
my favorite find of the year so far,a hamered silver coin.
it came from the same park as the solid gold ring and the heartstopper junk ring.
i've looked it up and it is a 20 pence piece of charles the 1st (1625-1649)
it needs cleaning but it looks in really good condition under the black bits, shame it's got a bit of a crease in it but it's most welcome in my collection.
thanks for looking.
