Hey all,
Today I went and picked up three boxes of dimes. Of course I got the dreaded question, what do I do with all these dimes. I just told the teller I use them. :P
Brought em home and opened them to check for enders. No enders unfortunatally. Also accidentally cut my self while opening the 2nd box. Might have to do a blood sacrifice more often. Box 2 ended up being my best box ever.
Box 1:
1 - 1962 Roosevelt
Box 2:
1 - 1936S Mercury (2nd ever found. Found in 4th roll in)
1 - 1946 Roosevelt
1 - 1961 Roosevelt
1 - 1964 Roosevelt (Found among several canadians)
11 - Canadians (One was 1968 but failed magnet test sadly)
Box 3:
A rare skunk from this bank.
13 - Canadian
Box 2 and 3 were a different batch than Box 1 which is the vein I've been tapping that last few weeks. Box 2 and 3 appeared to be from the same batch of dimes from what I could tell from the look of a few dirtier dimes.
My average of 1+ per box is still holding true.
