This weeks 26 boxes.

Well, some of you know I was doing 26 boxes this week ( 8 added to this weeks from last week that didn't show up) 4 were from Garda, 1 was a repack the other 3 were rerolled down and 22 of them were skunks, but 4 of them weren't and 2 of those gave me the most finds. Sorry I'm lite on the pics this time, it was hard enough trying to do these inbetween everything else going on ( kids, wife, work, blah blah blah) but here's what I got.

36 40's and 4 90's.

Miles driven this week 335 which equals out to $78.82 in gas.

I am ahead this week in just gas spent, in time, it puts me about $100.00 made for 15-18 hours of work. Just showing you the math. I'm happy, I did better than last week, but this was too much running around, I allready backed it off some for next week but stiill am ending up somehow with 24 coming in now that I count my pick ups. On the plus side I also found a new dump bank that is cool with me dumping 4 boxes and one that I have been dumping at for almost a year now has let me start bringing in 4 boxes a week instead of 2, so that should help me out a lot! When I went into this new branch I've never been to before, the guy greeter came up to me and asked if I had coins in the boxes, I said yup, halves, he told me that the last branch he was at he had lots of people coming in with bags and boxes of halves and ordering them too. I said is it ok to bring in like 4 boxes to you guys, ( I had 2 on me right then) he said sure, I said I have 2 more in the truck, can I give them to you now, yup. So I got the other 2 and asked if it was too much to bring in 4 every so often and they said no problem, as long as they are rolled up , Oh no problem with that, lol.

Say maverick, I am getting pushback from Wells Fargo on dumping......mine are light dumps, max of $500 every 2 weeks or so....any comments on Wells Fargo not taking any turn in,s?

I really don't deal with WF, I can tell you this, I have a lot invested in my dump bank, Mortage, Iras, checking ( for last 25 yrs), these things are what help me out, when I go in and if they make me swipe my debit card ( which is rare now) they can see all that Ihave with them right on the screen, then I get the "Oh, is there anything else we can do for you Mr. _____. " Your dump bank is the most important, if you have a mortgage with a bank, That should be your dump bank, not your pick up bank, you can pretty much get any bank to order for you. I think some do it just the opposite and it won't work, I have not very much in my pick up banks, but I'm heavily invested in my dump bank. HH, Maverick.

I'm 16, no mortgages yet, no loans =P Just a small bank account.
No banks will order for me but they all take dumps.

Hey Mav, Great pic of the Ag! Congrats! Married with kids and work. Nice job! Don't know where you find the time for all that and CRHing. I'm sure you have a good system set up that works for you but time and fuel are always an issue. Is it possible for you find more banks in a closer proximity to cut down on time and fuel cost? Not knocking your system you have set up at all, just food for thought. I have banks that will order 8-10 boxes a week for me with no problem, so it can be done without getting cut off. I know that hunting the same area over a period of time will reduce your chances until it is replenished but maybe you can find a few different banks in a smaller area closer to work and home that have a different supplier then the ones you are using for your pu and dump banks to cut down on the time and fuel costs. If you are just getting out of the area to hunt I can totally understand your strategy. I just like to add as much Ag to my stash with the least amount of overhead. Just a thought Mav.

My biggest problem is that I only use 1 bank to dump at, but about 18-20 branches or more to dump at, they are spread all over the place and in order to not piss any if them off, I only dump 1000 rolled up at a time at each branch. So when I do 24-26 boxes( and I only do 2 bag drops that week, I have to visit like 14 branches and trying to juggle this schedule every week and try not to visit some branches every week makes me have to drive to another area to dump, and I'll normally schedule a pickup there too.. I try and get some of my dumps out of my area too, I don't want someone to get one of my dump boxes and dump it back to my carrier forme to get again if the bank doesn't open the rolls up before they ship them back. My system still needs some tweaking and I'm working in it, I wouldn't mind as much if three forths or more of my boxes weren't skunks, seems it has really dropped of in my area in the last months. Sweet finds!! Um quick question.. When you order a box of halves, how long does it normally take for the box to get to the bank? I'm going to be ordering my first box tomorrow.. ))

Depends largely on your bank, but generally they will order and have it in the next day. ie... Order Monday... come in on Tuesday.

Cool, we both did the same number of boxes last week. 335 miles is a lot to drive for 26 boxes, especially at your mpg ratio. But you found about 6.77 ounces.

That is the most I have ever searched, it was a lot of work and running around too since I rerolled everything and dumped it at many banks. This week is going to be 24 boxes, 12 are coming in tomorrow and I have to dump 6 tomorrow too ( that will be 3 more bank stops for dumps and 3 for pickups totally 6 stops all over tomorrow), it will be a long day and over a 100 mile driven tomorrow, hope it is worth it! We'll see.... HH, Maverick.
