this weekends cool finds

Went to the old 1870s brick house I've been working on and found 3 IH an 1878,1879, and a 1906 that looked brand new that I gave to the land owner. Then went fishing today with my brother and only caught one wally in 2 hours. We decided to bail on the fishing and went to a 1800s house I've been eyeballing for awhile and got permission. I hit the front yard and found a 1884 seated dime(first) a few feet later a 1902 barber which is # 8 for the year. His grand kids started showing up and we had a pretty big audience so decided to hang it up there. The owner said we were welcome back anytime. Very cool day.

Cool coins, love the silver. Having the kids follow you around can be fun, but gets to be very distracting...happened to me yesterday!

Yeah ive had kids follow me around but its usually one or two not 7-8 and it was getting a little crowded. They followed my brother mostly cause he was finding newer coins and he was giving them to the kids. The little girl that was following me was trying to stick her hands in the hole while I was digging just didnt want to accidentally get her with the digger. I love kids it was just too much. Can't wait to get back and really hit it. We were only there for an hour or so.

I went to a playground a couple of weeks ago and three kids followed me. I am usually cool with kids around BUT one acted like he had ADHD and kept running off with my shovel and hitting trees and digging holes in the pea gravel. I finally just gave them the cold shoulder and they got bored and left.

The kids get me on the beach all the time. I usually explain what I'm doing... put the head phones on some of them. I also hand a few zincs or a Chucky Cheese Tokens out. They love it.
It's all good.....
