Went to visit my brother in Bristol VA. for the NHRA Thunder Valley Drags. Hunted three different houses. The first pic is from a 1970s home. 26 lincolns, 3 nickles, 6 rosies, a small "sketchers girl" charm, a toy jeep, and a 12ga. shotgun brass from the early 1900s. The second and third pic is from a 1917 home, 16 lincolns, 6 rosies, 5 quarters, 1 canadian penny, 1 unknown item, and an aluminium pen with a tucan on it. There was also a 1979 KIDCO 289 Mustang Covertible with operating trunk, an unknown military scout vehicle, and a Schrade pocket kine that cleaned up nice. The fourth pic is from a 1950s home. 7 wheaties, 4 lincolns, 2 nickles (0ne a 1943 the oldest date I can read), whats left of an old knife, a few whatchamacallits, and a religious token(which I can't find much on). I also ran into Jimmy McKinney, East Tennessee Metal Detecting on FB. Talked for a little bit and showed off our finds. Always a nice running into another detectorist.

UPDATE: The 1943 is a War Nickle with a "P" mint mark. My first!

I like the Schrade pocket knife. I could see the makers mark clearly before reading your post. Nice find.
