I thought that a find like that would have to go through the coroner as treasure trove. Or does there have to be more involved to be considered a trove?

You are right there has to be more than one probably a museum will buy it

The funny thing is I do mainly beach hunting but looking at this find Iam tempted to do other kinds of hunting but as for finds my best finds have been in spendable cash around 32.00 pounds an a 1918 penny
