Hi all. Not sure what this is, but it looks like it would be easy to identify for someone who has seen one before. I was kinda thinking along the lines of a decorative piece for a horse bridle harness or something horse related in which straps would be threaded through the slots. Or even a strap adjuster of some kind. I've looked around and haven't seen anything that matches my searches. The site on which it was found has given up stuff from the mid 1800's to early 1900's and even a nice utilized flint flake.
The piece measures 1 1/2" in diameter and the slots are 1/2".
