To all the dope members of this site:

I'm sick of checking threads day after day, only to find not much action. My friend Eminem isn't on this site any more. I'm taking a hiatus from posting for at least a good month. I miss the good ol days on T-net.

Iamrussel, you carry the tourch, you're a good member I have faith in you. Smokeydacat, I appoint you official in-absentee representative of 50cent. I'd appoint others but TZ and Omega ain't post'n much now. The notorious AG was shot. OnaRoll, switched to an honest and less addictive hobby. CRH'n Street Walker is also a good guy, he knows real CRH'n tactics, his posts inspired me to CRH in big volume. Davers, and all the cool cats who like my posts, thanks alot.

I'll still be hunting big time, just not post'n. PM me if you need to contact me, I'll check the site at least once a week still for PMs.



Im also sick of members criticizing a bold action of other members. Such a negative tone. Old vs new members. Keep calling out the old timers, (not all of them are bad!), alot of them don't even search and never did big volume and don't even know what CoinLok bags are---hardly the people to take advice from.

new members, I made alot of good posts, go back look at them, read up, and remember, that I'll return one day, so mold your CRH'n tactics after my advice.

I still check it 3-4 times a day but now all I see is nothing new- finds are way down- kindergarten fighting- all the cool CRHers dont post anymore(maverick, omega, Buffaloboy excluded they still post)

The hobby is dying because of people like this. I doubt I'll hunt anything but Ikes from here on out... just not worth it when you aren't finding anything. I've moved on to straight coin dealing as a new hobby and I've made almost as much in 8 months than I made my entire 4+ years I roll searched... and it's fun too.

Two problems. One it is the dead of winter, so not much action out there. Two, Facebook has several metal detecting pages that are getting a big following, including me. I don't spend as much time on here because I am reading posts in FB. THis is still an awesome website and activity is sure to improve as the weather does.

I believe the "bold action" Mr. Cent is referring to is this: http://www.treasurenet.com/forums/coin-roll-hunting/397825-1-bank-account-omega-0-0-a.html - that is, Omega's meltdown at the bank, which many older members strongly disagreed with, many of them attempting to advise and mentor Omega on what perhaps would have been a more productive way to handle the situation. Mr. Cent decided to keep the controversy alive, apparently because he felt Omega's "bold action" deserved to be rewarded, not chastised, thus infuriating many of the old-timers he says he respects.

I for one am not sorry to see Mr. Cent take a self-imposed time out. I had him on Ignore when he first started posting due to all the gang-banger talk. After awhile he became what considered a productive member of the forum, and I appreciated his input. I hope his time off will give him a chance to reflect.

I wasn't a huge fan of the rap, though I don't think it was that big a problem for those copying it. I was more concerned about newer members copying his espousal of being rude to bank personnel and expecting them to cater to us. I took this attitude to be his dry sense of humor, much the same as him recommending to chuck a roll or two at the teller's head - obviously not meant in the literal sense. However, newer members reading his posts literally might adopt these methods (again, not necessarily throwing things), and screw things up for the rest of us.

I enjoyed 50's sense of humor immensely, even to the point of enjoying his rap persona once in awhile. It's just an issue when the lines are blurred between humor and reality.
