Most of you have seen the oddities my bermuda triangle yard gives up. In the summer I like to go barefoot a lot when relaxing in the yard with a cold one or doing whatever. I hit this signal this morning and all I had to do was touch my pin pointer to the ground and it went off. About an inch down I found this.....Can you imagine if I had stepped on this this coming summer with no shoes on!? Wow so digging junk does pay off ;)

That would keep you on the cutting edge of things for sure!

Nice save and it looks like you can reuse it too!

Reminds me of the time when I was younger throwing the baseball with my brother bare footed. I stepped on a piece of broken rusty water pipe sticking out of the ground with a piece looking like /\. Several stitches in my big toe later, I was a hobbler for a little while. Would have been hard to dig that out though. Nice save especially if there is ever kids running around.

That's what we do, make "saves" all the time. Usually it's rescuing a relic or coin, jewelry, etc. We are saving the world from danger, one sharp pointy item at a time! That's where my saw blade went! Can you look for the drill bit 3/8" I lost last week? There must be a worm hole between our yards! ???

I found a circular saw blade in my back yard a couple months ago.

hum, i am going to have to pay attention to those "junk" signals

Almost makes me want to put down this hot coffee and traipse outside barefoot!Nice recovery Beeps.

Nah .. NEVER put down a good cup of hot coffee .. the Elixir of Life .... :coffee2:

unusual find, Beeps. Sneaky squirrel has spiderman's spider sense going off. A large rodent humping your ear will do that, I guess. creskol, I agree. I can't function without my coffee.

That would have been a wicked injury.

Agreed! That would have gifted you with a nice shot in the you know where!

I have had those shots before...not pleasant. Glad I recovered this. I also have a now 10 week old puppy and she likes to run around. I would be sick to my stomach if that harmed her.

Hey, I think you have an error blade! I've seen "RIDGID" but never "RIDGIL":tongue3:

LOL that would explain why I couldn't find any info on it haha! I searched for like 10 minutes and couldn't find it so gave up. Now there is a story for the dinner table.. so I stepped on an error blade that gave me tetanus and got to get the feeling of a pin cushion with shots the size of rail road spikes haha

Hey, I'll take that!
