I was poking around online looking at metal detecting stuff and came across a website that was interesting. Bill Wyman, who used to play bass for the Rolling Stones is a DETECTORIST!!! Here is the web address:

I found it pretty interesting to see a celebrity out there detecting. A lot of the site is him plugging an entry-level detector made by C.Scope that has his signature on it. I also checked out the C.Scope website to check out what's being made "across the pond" besides Minelab in Ireland.

I also heard that Hank Williams Jr. is a CW relic hunter but didn't find anything online about it.

I think I read a while back that NASCAR has a detectorist too. It was a member of Carl Edwards team, I had to go back and look at past posts.
