Too bad they didn't realize they were probably reducing the true value of their find. Collectors would probably fight over their bids.

What a shame!! A friend of mine went over to OZ on a MDing vacation and he saw that in the Carovans where the buyers were , theyed melt the gold out of the rock with oxy/acte tourchs to get the gold. I wanted to setup him buying specimen gold W/O melting it and send it to me to sell BUT the old story was it never got around to doing it. the story of my life!!
