I see live SpaceX launches from my home all the time, I live 45 miles from the launch site as the crow flies. Every launch they have shown on TV has been visible if I go outside as long as clouds were not blocking my view.

Love watching the night launches, it is like a massive Roman candle in the night sky. I have no doubt SpaceX will land on moon and Mars one day.
