this coin came with my first old coin

Same location as 1868 indian coin. It seems to be the top of the liberty bell, but not sure. Any ideas about this coin or the button with the star? Please reply.

The button you refer to, star shape, looks like a torque head screw, or machine bolt missing the threads?

The liberty bell coin appears to be a really messed up Franklin half.

Try using a magifying glass in front of your camera lens for a closer picture. It works pretty well.

Does the coin have a reeded or smooth edge? It looks like a large cent to me, but without seeing any detail who knows...

The button might be from a pair of jeans.
