Nice Indian Wars button. Heres a pic showing the difference between this and CW era.. Notice the neck and the shields.

It has a CW era backmark. 1859-63. This is not unusual to see an older backmark as they used up the old buttons backs in stock. http://pw1.netcom.com/~jimyce/bm.html

That makes sense, on the other thread i mentioned a trail but gave the name as General Kearney. This ws not the case I looked on the map and It is Crooks trail, found some 50/70 cases also. Thanks to all for your the replies.
