I have had to send my Garrett Z-Lynk back twice now, and will be returning my third unit on Monday. The first unit was returned after using the product approximately 12 times. The transmitter quit working and wouldn't power up at all. Garrett happily exchanged it (excellent customer service). Shortly after I got my new transmitter, my original receiver quit working in the same manner as the transmitter; simply stopped powering up and wouldn't charge. Again, Garrett happily exchanged it. Now my second receiver isn't working in the exact same way; no power at all. I take care of my gear, and care for the product in accordance with Garrett's Manual but this product keeps giving me issues. Has anyone else experienced these issues? Surely I couldn't be so unlucky that I get three bad units back to back, and the rest of them out there are quality products. I must say, after this experience I won't be buying another Garrett product again.
