Great digging congrats on the nice silver. Arty

This hobby can get your blood going especially when you see the silver rim of a coin in the hole. Did you find that Barber in Florida? Regardless, still of nice chunk of silver. Way to go on the roll you've been on lately. Hope you find a bunch more :headbang:

No i found it in Fort Worth...I just looked it up to see if it was a common..but it says it s Semi Key Date?..really?

That is a great find. I think 1892 was the first year for the Barbers---that might be worth a little money especiall with the S mint mark.

Congrats on the silver. Looks like you are off to a great start in this hobby. I hope to see many more posts of your finds.

That silver is a key date in the barber quarter series! Worth at least $30 in G-4. Congrats!

Way to go on your semi key 92s Barber 25c!...Been doin this 31 years and still love that rush of seeing that siver rim. Enjoyed your post, remember don't rub the dirt off it'll scratch your siver...

Yes!! I love your story man, and your excitement! It really illustrates why we all do this. Such a simple thing, a little silver coin, but SO MUCH more than that! Keep up the good work, and great job checking out those random patches of turf. That's a great looking quarter!

your excitment and story had me smilling the the whole time reading congrates on the great find im still looking for a barber quater ive got a seated liberty 1877 cc but no barber yet two barber dimes lots of mercurys and some rosie dimes and washington quaters love this hobby thanks for your fun post

1892 s is worth a few bucks. My 2007 red book lists as
28 dollars in G-4 condition. Good find
