think this is the right place - road widening - Deer Grove -

Thanks, it's a hit! Gold coinage has been found in the original Deer Grove village that once occupied the preserve. Got a copper culture ingot there myself (I think it's one anyway). Place has been a crossroads for 5,000 years or more.

Did you mention it's where some of the local tribes/nations met to agree on selling the Indian Lands? Also, they walked down the trail, now highway that runs by it, to collect their annual annuities. Actual Indian burial grounds not located in preserve, nearby on private property.

Thanks for the heads up Shermanville!

Agreed!

Spent a lot of time there myself. I wonder what type of detector technology will be available to us when the construction actually starts... ;D
