Hello, I think it might be a buckle for maybe suspenders. The part with the teeth looking things swivel.

Found in Vermont at a 1800s home.

Any information would be great thank you!

Looks like an early 1900’s suspender clasp. Nice!

Definitely a suspender clasp. I love finding those. I have a small collection of them all lined up in a Riker display box.
