Howdy. Found this today and pretty sure it's one of those King George-type pennies, but not certain. The side with the head is pretty toasted, but I can make out what I think is Britannia on other side.

What side is the date supposed to be on? Assuming I can't read a date, is there a date range you can give me? Thank you!

That would be a King George II halfpenny, which would be 1729-1760 if I do recall.
Nice dig!

Yeap Geo II Halfpenny.

Yep. I agree, but those halfpennies were minted from 1775 to 1788, with a rarer date. Those in that condition could be worth around $30.

It's a British George II (young head) halfpenny and dates 1729-1739.

Awesome. I'm 90% sure the final digit in the date is a 2, so I guess that makes it 1732. By FAR my oldest coin.
