Things you can find--even when you don't have your detector

While observing an old house being torn down to make way for a new office complex, I asked the forman on the job site if I could just poke around. In a false wall between 2 rooms, I noticed some glass,so being the nosy one, I kinda kicked a bigger hole and found 6 old Pabst Blue Ribbon glasses and they were sitting on this brass like platter. The inscription on the back reads--Property of the Coronado Hotel. I don't know where it may have come from. Any suggestions?

Whoa....thats a great find....If that is the Coranodo Hotel that is famous in California...You have a really neat find.....As a National Historic Landmark, the Hotel Del has a rich and colorful heritage. From Marilyn Monroe to Charles Lindbergh, from state dinners to the ghost of Kate Morgan, The Del is a fascinating American treasure with over 115 years of stories to tell.

The Coronado Hotel in San Diego, Ca. is a neat place. It was built entirely by unskilled laborers. I was there in 95. Cool find!
