Things I'm sick of and mad about........

I'm sick of pop not tasting like it used to....
I'm sick of walt disney, whoever is running walt disney is the devil....
I'm sick of automated phone systems....
I'm sick of people who say "Everydays a holiday"...
I'm sick of thinking that this time the 1.00 can opener from dollar general is going to last more than a week.
I'm sick of playing russian roulette whenever I buy meat from the store...
I'm sick of weiner enhancement commercials....
I'm sick of paying fees, seems like there is a fee for everything....
I'm sick of fake smiling and meaningless conversation with fake people.......
I'm sick of people who jump up and down when they get excited about not really very exciting things....
I'm sick of people calling my house......
I'm sick of reality tv shows......
I'm sick of people thinking that they live in the "United States of America" This country hasn't been the United States of America for....well probably long before I was born. How can you call these states united when half the country has tolerable marijuana laws and others don't and why do some states allow gays to be married (probably in churches)God don't get me started) and some do not. That list of course could go on and cover many a stupid topic........But how can we be united when there are too few patriots left or even too few people that even know what a patriot is. There are people in this country that for example cannot name the governor of their state or who was president in say...1980. "Divided States of America" !!...
I'm sick of car problems, they make them to break down to keep the auto parts stores in business ya know....
I'm sick of overpackaged products....
I'm sick of humidity and mosquitos....
I'm sick of debit cards....
I'm sick of technology....
and if I knew you I'd probably be sick of you too!!

I feel lucky to have a relationship with God, in my own way.
I feel lucky to have a wife and family I love, and that love me.
I feel lucky that at my age I am relatively healthy.
I feel lucky to have all these cats running the house, who knows what a mess things would be without them in charge.
I feel lucky to have food on the table whenever I'm hungry.
I feel lucky to have a roof which doesn't leak, on a house which isn't entirely falling apart.
I feel lucky to be employed.
I feel lucky my wife is employed.
I feel lucky that even the adult (kids) living with us are working..even if they can't earn enough to live on their own.
I feel lucky my teenage step-daughter is actually a pretty good kid who makes no horrible decisions like drugs or sex.
I feel lucky I have so many hobbies.
I feel lucky to still have dreams and schemes, even if I don't pursue them as hard or often as I should.
I feel lucky all my huge problems are not so huge when I think about it.
I feel lucky to be able to debate politics, or religion, in a free country where no one can shut me up.

And, I feel lucky to meet interesting people who still have time to chat awhile, or let me explore their land, or even just smile back when I smile at them.

Another way to put it.

Sometimes I question my God's choices...but I'm lucky to feel close enough to question and not get zapped by lightning.
Sometimes my family drives me nuts...but I'm lucky they put up with me when I drive them nuts.
I aint as good as I once was, not even as good once as I ever was, but I'm still kicking!
There are too many cats in this house, but that's better than none and I couldn't bring myself to kick any out.
Man I'd like a good steak, but at least I can splurge and not buy the hot dogs at Aldi's!
This place needs new wiring badly, but it hasn't burnt down, yet.
I hope my employer find a job for me with my restrictions due to a work injury...but at least I'm getting paid for now.
I wish my wife didn't have to drive 45 miles to work...but thank goodness she makes enough for it to be worth it.
We're ALL sick of four adults trying to share the house, but at least they pay most of their share.
My step-daughter thinks she knows it all...I'm lucky she hasn't decided to TRY it all.
I've got too much time on my hands, but at least mold isn't growing on me yet.
I hate feeling like I should accomplish something more in life, but, I'm lucky I've a few years left to try.
In some ways I'm up against the ropes, but I'm not down for the count just yet.
There are so many people who just seem to not get it....but still some who do.

It's too bad not everyone is as friendly as the good old days...but many still are.

Still another way to put it.

Is God even watching what is going on on this planet!?!?!?
This family relies far too much on me, I can't carry everyone!!!
Every year I get older and the aches and pains get worse!
Dang cats wreck the house and don't even learn tricks.
The food around here is cheap and seems like it's always the same.
This place is a money trap, one thing gets fixed and more just pops up!
I'm THIS close to having to accept a crummy settlement and find a new job.
My wife wears the cars out fast driving to work and back....and she can't find as good a job anywhere near here!
One bathroom and five people...enough said.
I dread the day my teenage step-daughter makes a huge mistake.
My hobbies and interests are just a waste of time.
I'm getting old with nothing to show for it.
I'm one crisis from being in deep human waste.
There are alot of crazies ready to destroy this country!

People are so much meaner than they used to be...and it's just getting worse.

There you go...I'll pick the first list. But they are all accurate to some extent.

Ohioan, Yup... I'd say you're sick alright and I just hope it isn't contagious I try and see the good in things; like if you decided to leave this country, that would open help our unemployment by opening up 1 job.. That may not be much, but it's a start.. So grab your friends and family and bon voyage, more opportunity will await those that stay behind.

Ohioan- I honestly hope your sickness passes, and I'm sincere about that. It's miserable to feel the way you do, I hope brighter days are agead for you.

Bigdan-You made me laugh and cry! It's wonderful to be alive, we're all going through this together even though it seems like others have it better. A sense of humor is mandatory to survival!! (Surrounding yourself with cats helps also)

After learning it the hard way, life is all about "attitude".....if you look for the bad in things you will always find it. If you look for the good when it seems there is none to be found, you will eventually find it. I've been a rich man with all the toys and I've been a poor man without food on the table. Being poor taught me more about life and happiness.

I can identify with all those. I been at the bottom level where all I had was 17 cents and 5 .22 shells. And a teepee to live in. I like to think of the things I'm proud of.
I'm proud of my kids and step-kids.
I'm proud of all my grandkids.
I'm proud of all my family; white, black, brown, red.
I'm proud of my second wife Maria. Proud of the first one two, in a way, in that you finally got my attention and taught me a lesson. Sorry it went that far. I still don't like you, though.
I'm proud that even though I am a boss, I don't stand around with my hands in my pocket, and if you get in a bind at work and got more than you think you can handle, it don't bother me to jump in and help you get it done.
And I'm proud of the fact that of all the things that p*ss me off and I get sick and tired of, I know I have the ability to get off my a** and change them.
And one more personal one, that nobody will know about. Alberto G., many years ago when you pulled that gun on me in that traffic stop, I am particularly proud that I disarmed you instead of killing you. And I think your wife, kids, and grandkids, and soon to be great-grandkids appreciate that too.

Thanks for the replies those were great Don't worry I'm not TOO sick of things. Bigdan I liked your post, I'll agree I have a list of things I'm lucky about too. But I like to complain sometimes.

I feel lucky that although we have a new "president" at least he's not george bush...
I feel lucky that they still make mallow cups....
I feel lucky that I can complain to 2 hundred and some people....
well thats about it ...

Well. I'm WAAAAAAAAAAY, YONDER, PAST tired of the whiners. No matter how bad we have "it", we can always look around and find someone who has "it" worse. I figured that one out years ago.

It is, thats why we can tell someone to get the he!! out if they don't like it or do us all a favor and kill yourself why don't you? So even though your not an American you can be sick and tired of whatever you want and "we" can tell you to pi55 off too. Of course my original relpy was meant to be "tongue in cheek" (warped sense of humor? maybe) I should have added a smiley or two (my fault). Everyone has a bad day every now and then and feels like the world is against them, its only human, so g'day Dano.
