Howdy to all who read this post. Stopped at an old house I have eye-balling for a while now. After a bit of discussion with the owner on the order of "ya wanna do what??!!??", I was able to get permission for a short after work hunt.

Turns out the house is 96-YRs old and originally belonged to a local dignitary, darn, I guess I got some more research to do.

Couldn't find much for a while but ended up saving some worn old siver. According to the Red Book the "O" mint mark makes it a semi key date. Too bad it is in poor condition but I'll take it any day.

Thanks for tuning in and may the finds be you (and me.)

That poor dime has seem some use, or abuse! Nice to find silver though.

The third pic you posted. The one of what looks to be some sort of jar lid with EP CO. written on it is interesting. I found one of those a couple of weeks ago and can't find any information at all on it. Would you happen to know what that lid is from?

is that lid to a condom container?

Nice score on the Barber! I'll take a slick Barber over a crisp Rosie any day!

Nice Barber dime...much better shape than the one I found.....definitely go back again.

Good job contending with the "you wanna do what"
Silver does go with everything, except maybe PB & J

Thats a good days find ... Congrats on the Silver :skullflag:
Maybe " PURITY EXTRACT Co." on the lid ? just a guess :BangHead:

I believe the lid is from a ponds cold cream jar.

Those "O" mint marks are tough to find. You did well.

Thanks terpfan. Here is a bit better "O" I found at a park site about a year ago. HH C9
