Is that a small slot in the end facing the ruller?, if so, I was thinking it looks like one of the older glass cutters...

hi , it may not be a bong. then again-- i know they can look like most anything. but dont you need an attatchment spot for some type of vessel to hold fluid to make a really good one? also, the picture of the slot end of THE THING is blurry so please excuse me if i'm way off bong dudes. could it be something to maybe lift a flat cast iron cooking thing out of the old ovens with? i know some of them had a setup similar to camping cookware where the handles were detatchable until you were ready to lift the cooking article with it. and they didnt have long handles always because they were old fasioned and had to cook in like a woodburning stove/oven. if you dont find out what it is pretty soon go ahead and make a bong out of it. hey i know ---- ask that cat thats kicked back on the couch with the can of pop in his paws. i'd bet he'd know better than any of us what it is. he looks like he knows a lot more than he lets on about. ;)
