I was going through my piles of buttons today, picking out ones that I could try cleaning up some more when I came upon this piece, that I have no idea when or where I found it. It had to be in the past year or so, since that was the pile of buttons I was going through, so perhaps I have a photo of it in my archives of where it was found.

I have no idea, it is very thin, stamped brass/tin perhaps, nothing on the other side since it is a stamped piece, it is the size of a dime.

13 stars might suggest one of the First Ladies of the US; a young Martha Washington, for example.

Well, there's 13 stars representing the forst 13 states I think, so I'd guess Betsy Ross? Monty
(or Dolly Madison)

I dont know who it is but its somebody lol. It doesnt look like a generic face. I checked Betsy Ross and all the presidents wives but no match. It does kinda resemble Dolly Madison or Barbara Striesand.

Well, there's 13 stars on a V Nickel representing the first 13 states, so Betsy Ross must get around alot!
