Thin Metal Whatsit

Found this out camping last weekend. My only guess is from something electronic. It's thin metal and pliable, but would snap in two if bent at too great of an angle. Any thoughts? Thanks!

inner plate from a transformer would have been along side of other plates like it and wrapped in copper
