People the federal government, aka the new "Empire" think Star Wars music here.... Are taking away our bill of rights, and our public lands everyday. Public lands are being gated off. If the locals complian, they get bs enviros to claim some damn thing or another needs protected. As prospectors, we see that all the time, especially here in California. But this is Agenda 21 at hand here. Not only taking away lands for hunting, fishing, trapping, and prospecting, but now limiting resources in our state and federal parks. Why? To keep us at home. To keep us off " Their" lands..... This is BS people. Quit listening to big media and get yourselves informed.... "The police state isn't coming, it's already here." (Alex Jones)

The video link is one of our representatives, actually stand up for us... They are limiting resources at Yosemite

IMHO, the National Parks aren't recreation areas. There are lots of public lands where you can do mostly what you want. The national Parks were set aside to provide a glimpse of what untrammeled nature looks like. You get little chance to see that at Yosemite anymore. The problem is that once people start making a living providing rides, and other recreational pursuits, it is extremely difficult to ever get back to what the Park was established to do. The problem was starting to crop up at Yellowstone, too. Mostly a problem with snowmachines. The result of a big battle was to set a limit on the number of machines allowed inside the park each day. That limit has reduced some of the air polution in the winter months...not all of it, but there was a reduction. It's just a matter of how you view the National Parks.
In fact, they are not the same as a National Recreation Area.

It's too bad McClintock wasn't elected Gov. back when . Instead That bloated dolt Swarztenegher bought his way into office [ like a true Kennedy]. Kal wouldn't have the dredging ban

Just made the call. Even though I'm not in Calif., it is still critical for all of us
to let these legislators (with backbones!) know that we appreciate their standing
up for the rights we were granted.

His office was very appreciative of the call, and I do hope others will take just a
moment (no matter where you are) and let Mr. McClintock know how much we all
appreciate his efforts on our behalf.

Hopefully his phone will be ringing off the hook with folks calling in appreciation of
his efforts. If we can get him enough NATIONAL support he might actually be able
to bring some pressure to bear on the asshats who want to destroy our freedom
to access the public lands that belong to us all.
